- Candidates’ upper age limit should be 55 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form.

DRDO DMRL Recruitment Selection Process 2024
- The selection process for Apprentice posts in the DRDO-Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) will be based on the performance of the candidates in the Matriculation/ ITI Examination.
- A merit list will be prepared according to the scores of the candidates in the qualifying examination for recruitment as Trade Apprentices.
DRDO DMRL Apprentice Important Notice 2024
- No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants if called at any stage of the selection process.
- The apprentices WILL NOT BE provided any hostel accommodation/quarter/transport by the establishment at any stage of the selection process, and also during the training period. Also, no allowances will be admissible except the consolidated stipend.
- Candidates selected for training will not be allowed to withdraw from training except for reasons which are beyond their control. Before commencement of the training, the candidates will have to execute a Contract of Apprenticeship.
- The training of the Apprentice will be terminated without intimation following the unauthorized absence of the candidate in training for more than 15 days.
- Completion of training does not entitle the candidates to any right to claim temporary/permanent jobs in DMRL.
- No correspondence shall be entertained from the candidates not selected for training.
